The North York Moors - where Studio Nila is based

hello 3.jpg

Studio Nila is about sharing the beauty and diversity of our wonderful British flora!

We British are a nation of gardeners and plant lovers, and I aim to offer designs that reflect this; showing a much wider variety of the wonderful flowers we have in this country, in all colours and shapes, showing perspectives we might not normally get to enjoy, and the beauty in previously under-celebrated blooms.

My core range is Nova Botanica, and here, as well as traditional roses and tulips, you will find classic British wildflowers such as celandines, forget-me-nots and bluebells; garden favourites such as poppies, escallonia and cosmos; woodland blossoms like rhododendron, cherry, and camellia; as well as the odd ladybird or bumblebee sprinkled in there!

I was given my first camera at a young age, and since then have gained a lot of joy from time spent in the countryside, woods, parks and gardens, discovering and capturing - at just the right time - as many flowers as I could find.

I've always loved bringing flowers and foliage inside my home, and I think now more than ever, given the last year and how much time we've had to spend inside and apart from loved ones, it can be a joy to bring some bright and colourful nature inside our homes, or send it on to others.

I hope you find something here that appeals to you: I'm always happy to hear from potential new retailers, and love to visit and meet new people, so please feel free to get in touch – I’d love to speak to you!
